Eligibility review
We check the route, permission history, reckonable residence and final-year absence position before preparing the application.
Immigration and citizenship support
Naturalisation support for applicants who need a careful review of residence history, identity proofs, yearly residence evidence, absence records and route-specific citizenship documents.

Citizenship preparation
Naturalisation is not just a form. The application depends on route, residence history, identity evidence, yearly residence proofs, absences and discretion. i2i reviews the practical file before the official online application is prepared.
Irish citizenship rules, fees and document requirements can change. These links should be checked before final submission.
i2i preparation
We turn scattered immigration, tax, address and travel records into a structured application pack. The aim is to make the applicant's residence history understandable, the scorecard evidence complete and the supporting documents easy to review.
Most adult applicants need 5 years of reckonable residence in the previous 9 years, including 1 year of continuous residence immediately before applying.
The final year before application needs careful review. ISD guidance uses strict absence limits, so travel days should be calculated before choosing a submission date.
The naturalisation application is made online. Once submitted, the application cannot be edited in the same way as a draft intake.
Reported 2026 proposals include longer residence, language, civics and economic self-sufficiency requirements. These are treated as proposed until enacted.

Prepare a clear colour copy of the current passport biometric page and any previous passport pages needed to explain Irish permissions, travel history, name changes or residence gaps. If a passport is missing, include the explanation and any official loss or renewal evidence available.
The passport name, date of birth, nationality and passport number should match the naturalisation application. Any difference should be explained before submission.
Government fees, residence rules and processing times can change. i2i checks the current official position before the application is prepared.
